I have used Golden Gear several times to service our Prius. I appreciate their honesty. They do provide honest assessments of costs for service along with setting the proper expectations of time and/or value of that service. I recommend them.

The service was great and accurate. I left car at the Golden Gear, they keep informed me the status, and also explained detail. I’m very satisfied with their service.

My 8:30 appointment lasted all day. Good work was done, but hard to go without a car all day unexpectedly.

Smog inspection

Was able to get me in fast. Unfortunately after diagnosing my van they failed to reseal my doghouse and also broke off my rear view mirror. When I asked about the mirror they said ,"it got too hot and fell off." If they lie about something as simple as that im not sure i can trust them with an actual issue. I didn't even care about the mirror but I expect honesty.
