Great service. Alex is very knowledgeable and I trust him completely with my 19 year old Subaru. He keeps it running great and makes small repairs before they become big issues. Very grateful to have such a careful mechanic within walking distance of my home, too!

Excellent service. Especially because they had installed a water pump from a supplier and discovered something wrong with it while test-driving, then took it apart and put in a replacement. In other words, really sharp quality control and taking the responsibility to redo the job.

I got my '05 Honda Civic smog checked @ Golden Gear. Alex was on time w my appointment and the job was done in the time estimated time (half hour) Alex was very professional. I'd go back for other items and I have already recommended him to a friend.

I appreciate that Alex was willing to take my car the same day I called in and although there were other jobs in front of mine, he assessed the problems and called me immediately to set up a repair plan. I felt he was honest and up front. He was able to get the work done in the timeframe that was necessary for me.
